As I said, Luna is a very unique sheep. I’m not even so sure she knows she’s a sheep as you can see by this picture of her with one of her friends.

The geese will snap with their bills when they are defending themselves, their water pot, their sitting spot, etc. I have seen Luna approach such a protected area only to have a goose peck her face. This seemed to have the opposite effect to what the goose intended. Luna seemed to think this was some kind of massage therapy. She simply stood there and soaked up the attention. Perhaps this is how they became friends.

Another blizzard blew in this evening causing white out conditions on the highways. Even here in the yard where it’s sheltered, it was hard to see through all the blowing snow.

The sheep all huddled on the leeward size of the feeder and lamb hut.

It wasn’t yet cold enough to drive the sheep into their shelters, but they did all shift to the leeward side of the feeders and barn. Even the goose decided to hunker down for the night.
